  • Veronique excels at helping families navigate complex educational and support systems, drawing on her experience as a Director of a school-based mental health program and her work with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Her extensive background working with youth in various settings—from foster care to inpatient facilities to schools—allows her to understand and address complicated clinical presentations with nuance and compassion.

  • Veronique creates a supportive, affirming assessment environment where children who may initially feel apprehensive about being evaluated can feel comfortable showing their true capabilities.

"Oftentimes, youth who have learning challenges begin the assessment process with trepidation and a lack of confidence in themselves as learners. My hope is that every child and adolescent I work with walks away from the assessment with a better understanding of their learning profile and a clear picture of their unique strengths. I want the clients I work with to feel empowered by their increased understanding of their needs and ways to access support."

- Veronique Lee

Veronique Lee is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in providing comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents, with particular expertise in trauma, ADHD, and depression.

Veronique brings a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to her assessments, working collaboratively with families to identify both challenges and strengths that inform effective support strategies.

Veronique particularly enjoys engaging with adolescents and supporting them in identifying their learning goals, while also working effectively with younger children (preschool age and early elementary). Her warm, nurturing approach helps children feel comfortable during the assessment process, enabling them to demonstrate their true capabilities.

With extensive experience working with youth who present complicated clinical pictures, Veronique has provided therapeutic support, comprehensive psychological evaluations, and clinical supervision across diverse settings—including private practice, foster care agencies, child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient facilities, and non-public schools. This breadth of experience allows her to understand the whole child and the systems that impact their development.

Beyond her core specialties, Veronique assesses children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, learning differences, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, and discrepant learning profiles. She also conducts screenings for kindergarten readiness to help families make informed educational decisions.

As a former Director of a school-based mental health program, Veronique has collaborated with school administrators and support teams to address systemic challenges impacting students' social-emotional and educational needs. This experience makes her particularly effective at helping families navigate complex systems—including special education, regional center, and social services—to obtain proper support for their children.

Veronique's assessments are collaborative and comprehensive, designed to empower both children and their families. Her hope is that every young person walks away from the assessment process with a better understanding of their learning profile and a clear picture of their unique strengths, while parents gain the tools needed to effectively advocate for their children.

Outside of her clinical work, Veronique enjoys reading, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
